I believe there are Three Essential Readings everyone should consider:
- Philosophy.
- The main religious book of the culture in which you were born, in my case, The Holy Bible.
- The constitution of your country (knowing the laws, rights and obligations of your country is important)
Regarding The Religious Book of your choice, there will always be people (atheists and followers of other religions) who criticize the religion you're a part of. However, I say again, to criticize something, we must first understand it. If you don't understand what you're criticizing, your words are more likely to be mere opinions, which lack a rational basis.
